The this outdoor museum (Kaya SL Hiroba) near Kyoto is the musuem of the former Kaya Railway and has several locomotives .
Kaya is north of Kyoto and is a bus ride from Nodagawa, on the Kitakinki Tango Railway, to Kozanguchi, then 8 minutes walk.
The following locomotives are on display:
2, 4, 103, C57-189, C58-390, 1261, plus diesels and railcars
Miniature line, turntable, short train rides.
Daily 10:00 to 18:00 (17:00 in Winter). Entry 500 yen (2009).
