Nottingham Tournament 1986

The 4th Nottingham Tournament was held on Saturday 8th November 1986 in the Lecture Hall in the Portland Building.

Mark Skinner was the organiser collecting entries at £3. The number attending increased to 54.

The overall winner for the second time was the Korean, who was at Nottingham University for a couple of years, J-Y. Lee (5 dan), who won all 4 games. Other prize winners were with 4/4 were Eddie Smithers (3 kyu Leicester), M. Shiono (4 kyu York) and Michael Carr (10 kyu Furze Platt). The Qualifier was Mike Harvey (1 kyu Swindon).
